Je jedno, jestli je pracovní den, svátek nebo víkend. Každý den je pro rodinu Ilony a Martina stejně těžký a vyčerpávající. Jsou na pokraji svých sil. Mají tři děti, ovšem dvě z nich jsou velmi nemocné. Péče o ně, která zahrnuje rehabilitace, osobní asistence a zajištění speciální stravy je velmi finančně nákladná záležitost.
Situace této rodiny se zkomplikovala také tím, že tatínek Martin se před dvěma roky zhroutil a léčí se s depresemi a úzkostmi. Před několika týdny prodělal cévní mozkovou příhodu, je v dlouhodobé neschopnosti a maminka Ilona je osoba pečující, tudíž dlouhodobě dostává jen příspěvky na péči, které nepokryjí vše potřebné.

They have three children, but two of them are very sick. Caring for them, which includes rehabilitation, personal assistance and provision of a special diet, is a very expensive matter.
The family's situation was also complicated by the fact that father Martin collapsed two years ago and is being treated for depression and anxiety. He had a stroke a few weeks ago, he is on long-term disability, and mother Ilona is a carer, so he only receives long-term care allowances, which do not cover everything,what family needs.

Dcera Sarah bude mít 12 let a má diagnostikovanou zvýšenou lomivost kostí. Pátým rokem dostává onkologickou léčbu, aby se jí kosti nedeformovaly. Má za sebou mnoho zlomenin, v současné době má zlomené rameno. Trpí velkými bolestmi kostí a kloubů. Nemůže sportovat, dělat běžné věci, jako její vrstevníci. Potřebuje permanentní rehabilitace a podpůrné terapie.
Druhé dceři Elizabeth je 7 let. Narodila se ve 23. týdnu těhotensví a vážila 600 gramů. Má diagnostikovanou dětskou mozkovou obrnu – spastickou diparézu. Nechodí, leze po čtyřech, do stoje se dostane jen pomocí pohlig ortéz, které nehradí pojišťovna a jsou pouze na rok. Stojí 170 000 kč. Elizabeth potřebuje 24hodinovou péči 7 dní v týdnu. Přesto všechno Je velice motivovaná a veselá holčička, která miluje život a lidi.
Dále mají syna Sama.
Všechny děti mají sníženou funkci diaminooxidázi, což je enzym štěpící potravu a netolerují mléko, lepek ani sóju. Vaření a nakupování této stravy je velmi nákladné.

Elizabeth needs 24/7 care. Despite everything, she is a very motivated and cheerful little girl who loves life and people.

All children have reduced function of diamine oxidase, an enzyme that breaks down food, and are intolerant to milk, gluten and soy. This diet is very expensive to cook and buy.
