Rodina by chtěla strávit co nejvíce času společně, zajet na dovolenou, splnit i to nejmenší přání.
Zároveň potřebuje pokrýt životní náklady – je nutná neustálá péče obou rodičů, kteří tak nemohou naplno pracovat.
Finanční prostředky budou využity především na:
-
pořízení zdravotních pomůcek (např. většího kočárku, později invalidního vozíku),
-
zajištění terapií a specializované péče,
-
Jakákoli částka pomůže Beatce zlepšit a zkvalitnit zbývající život a jejím mladým rodičům alespoň trochu ulehčí v této tragické situaci.
Spolu. Doma. Anebo třeba u moře, zatímco budeme sbírat mušle a vysvětlovat, proč je voda slaná.“
Ze srdce děkuje rodina Dvořákova.

About the Fundraiser
This summer, Beata celebrated her 4th birthday. She was overjoyed to learn that she would soon have a baby sister, and she and her parents were planning her very first seaside vacation.
But life took an unexpected turn — Beata was diagnosed with a large brain tumor (DIPG), the most aggressive form of brain cancer. It is, heartbreakingly, both incurable and inoperable. The median survival time for this diagnosis is around nine months.
Thanks to appropriate treatment and the specific biology of her tumor, there is hope that Bea might stay with us for a few more months.
The family’s biggest wish is that everyone will be able to welcome the new baby sister together. For the young parents, this is especially painful — they decided to have a second child in part because Beata had longed to become a big sister and help care for a baby.
Another of Beata’s dreams is that long-awaited seaside holiday — to fly on an airplane for the first time, taste salty seawater, and walk along the beach.
Our goal is to help the family financially so that they can spend precious time together and create lasting memories while Bea’s health still allows it.
Who We’re Helping
Beata is a smiling, empathetic, and joyful little girl. She loves kindergarten, unicorns, the color pink, and princesses like Elsa and Rapunzel — just like most girls her age. She enjoys board games, singing, and dancing. She’s bright and curious beyond her years — she can already write her name and has started learning to read. Above all, she loves discovering the world, whether on her own or with friends.
In July, she joyfully celebrated her birthday, sneaking bites of her blue Elsa cake and hiding from her friends with her frosting-colored smile.
Just a month later, the first symptoms appeared out of nowhere. Beata suddenly collapsed; within days, she began to limp, the corner of her mouth drooped, and she said her hand wasn’t working properly. After a neurological exam and hospitalization at Thomayer Hospital, she was transferred to Motol Hospital in Prague.
The diagnosis broke everyone’s hearts.
Radiation therapy is now underway and should, at least for a while, stop the tumor from growing. There are also medications that may slow the progression of the disease — though, sadly, only for a few months.
Even so, Beata is a brave little heroine, facing every medical procedure with courage. Her current condition no longer allows her to walk on her own, so her parents often have to carry her. They are now arranging for a larger stroller or wheelchair to make moving around easier and to help her experience as many joyful moments as possible.
How the Funds Will Be Used
The family wants to spend as much time together as they can — to take a vacation and make even the smallest dreams come true. They also need to cover everyday living expenses.
Because of Bea’s condition, she requires constant daily care from both parents. The family has an unfinished home with a mortgage, and they must also purchase medical aids, arrange therapies, and buy a larger car that can fit both a wheelchair and a stroller for the baby. Unfortunately expenses related to passing of beloved close one as well.
The family will try to apply for all material items or services that can be covered or partially covered by health insurance, but given the unpredictability of this disease, Beatka's comfort, long waiting times, and the evidence that may be required by the insurance company, the family has decided to use any proceeds from this collection to fully cover certain items or services so that Beatka can have a good quality of life.
The fundraiser is directly linked to Beatka's transparent account, so the money raised and all expenses will be transparently visible directly on the Česká Spořitelna website – section transparent accounts, under Beatka's name.
Every contribution — big or small — will help improve the quality of Bea’s remaining time and ease the burden on her young parents in this tragic situation.
Any unused funds will be donated by the family to help other children battling cancer.
A Message from the Family
We are deeply grateful for every bit of support. We know that no amount of money can change our reality, but your kindness gives us something priceless — time.
Time to be together as a family. Time to share laughter, cuddles, and stories. Maybe even time to feel the sea breeze, collect seashells, and explain to Beata why the water tastes salty.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for helping us make the most of every moment.
