Pražský barokní orchestr a vokální ansámbl Collegium 1704 slaví v roce 2025 nádherných 20 let plných úspěchů na světových pódiích od Salcburku přes Vídeň, Berlín, Brusel, Amsterdam, Varšavu či Versailles!
A právě ke 20. narozeninám realizujeme výjimečnou nahrávku dvou mší českého barokního génia Jana Dismase Zelenky, jehož propagaci se od počátku soustavně a celosvětově věnujeme – Missa Circumcisionis ZWV 11 a Missa Corporis Domini ZWV 3. Jan Dismas Zelenka je bezesporu jedním z nejinspirativnějších skladatelů barokní éry a je s podivem, že jeho dílo bylo ve své celistvosti objeveno až v posledních desetiletích.
Zelenkova hudební řeč je zcela ojedinělá vkontextu barokní hudby a strhující svojí emocionalitou, virtuozitou a kompoziční rafinovaností.
„Missa Circumcisionis z roku 1728 je posledním velkým Zelenkovým dílem, které nebylo nahráno na dobové nástroje a je poněkud zastíněna mešními kompozicemi z konce autorova života. Toto slavnostní, bohatě instrumentované dílo, jehož partitura prozrazuje, že autor měl k dispozici vynikající drážďanský dvorní orchestr a skvělé zpěváky, představuje vrcholné dílo Zelenkova středního tvůrčího období a patří bezesporu k tomu nejlepšímu z díla autora.“

Collegium 1704 sehrálo při renesanci Zelenkovy hudby důležitou roli. Řadu jeho děl uvedlo nebo nahrálo ve světových premiérách, a především se vytrvale zasazuje o prezentaci hudby tohoto českého génia na prestižních koncertních pódiích na celém světě.
Slavnostní nahrávka bude představena v říjnu 2025 na zahajovacím koncertě sezóny Collegia 1704 v Rudolfinu a Drážďanech, kde se také uskuteční autogramiáda s dirigentem Václavem Luksem, a dále v rámci podzimního turné v ČR, Polsku a Francii.

– pronájem kostela sv. Anny a technické zajištění

In 2025, the Prague Baroque Orchestra and Vocal Ensemble Collegium 1704 will celebrate 20 years of success on the world's stages from Salzburg to Vienna, Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, Warsaw and Versailles!
And it is on the occasion of this 20th birthday that we are making an exceptional recording of two masses by the Czech Baroque genius Jan Dismas Zelenka, which we have been promoting consistently and worldwide since the beginning – Missa Circumcisionis ZWV 11 and Missa Corporis Domini ZWV 3. Jan Dismas Zelenka is undoubtedly one of the most inspiring composers of the Baroque era and it is surprising that his work has only been discovered in its entirety in recent decades.
Zelenka's musical language is quite unique in the context of Baroque music and is captivating in its emotionality, virtuosity and compositional sophistication.
"The Missa Circumcisionis of 1728 is Zelenka's last major work not recorded on period instruments and is somewhat overshadowed by the mass compositions from the end of the composer's life. This festive, richly instrumented work, whose score reveals that the composer had an excellent Dresden court orchestra and fine singers at his disposal, represents the culminating work of Zelenka's middle creative period and is undoubtedly one of the best of the composer's output."

Collegium 1704 played an important role in the renaissance of Zelenka's music. Many of his works have been performed or recorded in world premieres, and above all, it has persisted in presenting the music of this Czech genius on prestigious concert stages around the world.
A celebratory recording will be presented in October 2025 at the opening concert of the Collegium 1704 season at the Rudolfinum and in Dresden , where an autograph session with conductor Václav Luks will also take place, as well as during an autumn tour of the Czech Republic, Poland and France.
