Help for my cousin Alena Kanova and her family, who have been affected by the tornado on Thursday.

Alena s rodinou žije v Moravské Nové Vsi, je to její rodné město.

Momentálně má 6 týdenní miminko, její přítel má po operaci ramene..

Ve čtvrtek večer se jim změnil život a během pár minut přišli o kus majetku, stali se jednou z obětí tornáda. Jsou první dům od pole, odkud tornádo šlo, takže jsou bez oken, střechy, zahrady, část vybavení… Zničena byla i auta před domem. Čeká je teď dlouhá cesta k bydlení, které bude funkční a bezpečné. A není to jediný dům, který musí opravit. Čeká je ještě oprava domu po babičce vedle nich, tam se jedná hlavně o novou střechu a okna, zbytek časem.

Who are we helping?

Alena and her family live in Moravian Nová Ves. She has been living here since she was born.

At the moment, she is the mother of a six-month-old baby. Her boyfriend is recovering from shoulder surgery.

On Thursday, their lives were thrown into turmoil in just a few minutes. They lost part of their property and became victims of the tornado.  Their house was first in the firing line, standing right next to the field the tornado came from. Therefore, they lost their windows, roof, garden and some other items. The cars outside the house were also destroyed. Ahead of them, there is a long path towards once again living in a functioning and safe home. Moreover, this is not the only house they have to rebuild. They also have to rebuild the property next to theirs, which they inherited from their grandmother. This house will need a new roof and windows primarily, and the rest will follow later.
