„Čím méně budete řešit, co Vaše dítě smí či nesmí, tím více uvidíte, co všechno vlastně může.“ Tato věta mě zaujala, když jsem pročítala informace o delfínoterapii. Po dlouhém uvažování jsme kontaktovali delegáta a zástupce pro tuto terapii v Turecku.
Vzhledem k synově diagnóze „hemofilie“, není moc vhodných sportů, které by mu lékaři doporučili. Voda je však správnou volbou. Turecko je rovněž zemí „hemofiliků“, tudíž by zde, v případě potřeby, byla poskytnuta odborná zdravotní péče.

“The less you worry what your child may or may not do, the more you see all the things your child can do.” This sentence caught my eye when I was reading information about Dolphin Assisted Therapy. Having given it a lot of thought, we contacted the delegate and representative for this therapy in Turkey.
Regarding my son’s diagnosis, haemophilia, there are only few suitable sports doctors would recommend to him. But water is a good choice. Also, Turkey is a country of haemophiliacs, so if needed, he would receive professional medical care there.
Komu pomůžeme?
Oliverkovi bylo v září 6 let. Syn se od narození pere s těžkou formou hemofilie A, obrnou pravé strany těla, centrální vadou zraku a epilepsií. Vzhledem k tomu, že se snažíme synovi dopřát 100% péči, navštěvujeme rehabilitace, logopedii, hipoterapii, lázně, léčebny, ergoterapie, reflexní masáže apod.
V srpnu byl syn na měsíční terapii ve Snoezelen prostředí. Formou hry zde rozvíjí dovednosti, které u dítěte chybí nebo jsou podstatně slabší. Terapie byla velice přínosná, a proto hledáme další možnosti rozvoje.
Oliverek rád dovádí ve vodě. Jak už ve vaně, tak v bazénu nebo vířivce. Také miluje věrného psa Charlese, kterého navštěvuje u dědečka a babičky a kobylku Lilli, za kterou jezdíme na hipoterapii. Nade vše však miluje svého bratra Arturka, který ho doprovází téměř na všechny terapie a cvičení.

Who are we going to help?
In September, little Oliver celebrated his sixth birthday. Since his birth he has been struggling with a severe form of haemophilia A, right side paralysis, central vision impairment, and epilepsy. We try to give our son the best care available, so we attend rehabilitation sessions, speech therapy, hippotherapy, spas, sanatoria, ergotherapy, reflexive massages, etc.
In August, Oliver attended a one-month Snoezelen therapy. In the form of a game, the therapy develops skills that are either underdeveloped or entirely missing in a child. The therapy was very helpful, so we are searching for other opportunities that might help with Oliver’s development.
Little Oliver likes playing in water, whether a bathtub, a swimming pool, or a whirlpool. He loves his loyal dog friend Charles, whom he visits at his grandparents, and a mare called Lilli that helps him with hippotherapy. But his best companion is his brother Artur, who accompanies him to almost all therapies and exercises.
