Horské louky v Jeseníkách čelí nevídanému tlaku. Klimatické změny i civilizační vlivy ohrožují vzácné poklady naší přírody – od glaciálních reliktů a jesenických endemitů, jako je zvonek jesenický, až po vzácné ptactvo a opylovače. Národní přírodní rezervace Praděd patří k botanicky nejcennějším lokalitám v České republice. Náš dokument poodhaluje její unikátnost a hledá cesty, jak toto přírodní dědictví zachovat i pro příští generace.

Náš příběh

Naším cílem je natočit dokumentární film, který lidem pomůže uvědomit si unikátnost českých vysokohorských luk. Naši předkové nám zanechali krajinu s velmi bohatou skladbou rostlin a živočichů. Je proto naším společným úkolem tyto lokality chránit, s citem o ně pečovat a zachovat je pro další generace.

Tomáš Vynikal se ochraně přírody aktivně věnuje již od dětství. Svou vášeň předává dál skrze odborné exkurze pro děti i širokou veřejnost, na nichž spolupracuje například s Domem dětí a mládeže Olomouc. Dokumentární tvorbě se věnuje od přelomu základní a střední školy. Jeho filmy byly v minulosti promítány v kinech jako Bize v lotyšské Rize, berlínský Babylon, pražský Světozor, brněnský Art či Bio Central v Hradci Králové. Spolupracuje rovněž se společností Bontonfilm a jeho díla jsou dostupná na VOD platformách Google TV, JOJ play, Magenta TV, Vodafone TV nebo Starmax.

Mezi jeho důležité činy v oblasti ochrany přírody patří:

V roce 2003 úspěšné zachránil přírodní památku Tučapská skalka před jejím zrušením. O 15 let později prosadil rozšíření lokality o cca 3 000 m². Související opatření, realizované v roce 2022, zahrnovalo zatravnění orné půdy a výsadbu solitérních stromů. Cílem bylo zamezit splachu chemických hnojiv na cennou stepní xerotermní vegetaci.

Prosazení vyhlášení evropsky významné lokality Deylův ostrůvek (vyhlášeno v roce 2012).

Ve spolupráci s Českou inspekcí životního prostředí inicioval vyřešení výtoku odpadních vod do lužního lesa v obci Dub nad Moravou. Současně se zasadil o odstranění nelegální skládky dehtového asfaltu o hmotnosti přibližně 15 tun v téže lokalitě.

Aktivně nyní prosazuje:

1. Vyhlášení Bolelouckého mokřadu za přírodní památku. Lokalita je unikátní v rámci okresu Olomouc výskytem blatnice skvrnité (stabilní populace s každoročním rozmnožováním), dále se zde vyskytuje kuňka obecná a další ohrožené druhy.

2. Vyhlášení lípy v zámecké zahradě v Nenakonicích s obvodem kmene 496 cm jako památného stromu. Odhadované stáří stromu je 200 až 300 let.

Tomáš Vynikal realizuje činy a aktivity ve volné čase a bez finanční podpory.

Na co vybrané peníze použijeme?

Možnosti financování dokumentární tvorby jsou v České republice velmi omezené. Získané finanční prostředky proto využijeme k pokrytí nákladů na další fáze natáčení, zejména na kameramanské práce, a na následnou obrazovou i zvukovou postprodukci včetně hudby. S hotovým snímkem plánujeme oslovit kina podporující autorskou tvorbu, filmové festivaly i vzdělávací instituce všech stupňů. Počítáme také s distribucí na VOD platformách a TV.

About the film

The mountain meadows of the Jeseníky Mountains are facing unprecedented pressure. Climate change and civilization influences threaten our natural world's precious treasures – from glacial relics and Jeseníky endemics, such as the Jeseníky bluebell, to rare birds and pollinators. The Praděd National Nature Reserve is one of the most botanically prized locations in the Czech Republic. Our documentary reveals its uniqueness and looks for ways to preserve this natural heritage for future generations to come.

Our story

Our goal is to make a documentary film that will help people realize the uniqueness of the Czech high mountain meadows. Our ancestors left us a landscape with a very rich composition of plants and animals. It is therefore our common duty to protect these areas, to care for them with feeling and to preserve them for future generations.

About the author

Tomáš Vynikal, director and cameraman of the documentary, Let's Save the Meadows of the Jeseníky Mountains, has been actively involved in nature conservation since childhood. He shares his passion through professional excursions for children and the general public, with which he cooperates, for example, with the Olomouc Children and Youth Centre. He has been involved in documentary work since leaving elementary and high school. His films have previously been screened in cinemas such as Bize in Riga, Latvia, Babylon in Berlin, Světozor in Prague, Art in Brno or Bio Central in Hradec Králové. He also cooperates with Bontonfilm and his works are available on VOD platforms Google TV, JOJ play, Magenta TV, Vodafone TV and Starmax.
His important contributions in the field of nature conservation include:
1. In 2003, successfully saved the Tučapská skalka natural monument from its closure. 15 years later, pushed for the expansion of the site by approximately 3,000 m². Related measures, implemented in 2022, included the grassing of arable land and the planting of solitary trees. The aim was to prevent the washout of chemical fertilizers onto valuable steppe xerothermic vegetation.
2. Pushing for the declaration of the Deylův ostrůvek site of European importance (declared in 2012).
3. In cooperation with the Czech Environmental Inspectorate, he initiated the resolution of the wastewater discharge into the floodplain forest in the municipality of Dub nad Moravou. At the same time, he advocated for the removal of an illegal tar asphalt dump weighing approximately 15 tons in the same location.
These are just to name a few…

Tomáš currently actively promoting:
1. The declaration of the Boleloucké wetland as a natural protected area. The location is unique within the Olomouc district due to the occurrence of the spotted mudskipper (a stable population with annual reproduction), the bellflower and other endangered species are also found here.
2. Declaration of a linden tree in the castle garden in Nenakonice with a trunk circumference of 496 cm as a commemorative tree. The estimated age of the tree is 200 to 300 years.
Tomáš Vynikal runs events and activities in his free time and without financial support.

Why do we need help
Financing possibilities for documentary realization are very limited in the Czech Republic. We therefore use any funding obtained to cover the costs of the concurrent stages of filming, especially for camera work, and for subsequent image and sound post-production, including music. With the finished film, we plan to reach cinemas supporting creative work, film festivals and educational institutions of all levels. Furthermore we plan to distribute it on VOD platforms.

This unique peat bog, which began to form 6 to 7 thousand years ago, offers a fascinating insight into the history of our natural world.

Explore with us the Plané loučky Nature Reserve in the heart of the Litovelské Pomoraví Protected Natural Reserve. This botanically invaluable location in Central Moravia delights us with its mosaic of moorland wetland meadows, biotopes and pools. Together we will search for rare plant species such as the marsh pea, square garlic and many others.
