Kyril je Bělorus, který žije už patnáct let v Česku. Když začala válka na Ukrajině, rozhodl se, že je čas zapojit se do boje za svobodu. Nejen tu ukrajinskou, ale i běloruskou. Absolvoval řadu specializovaných výcviků. Operuje v Marjince a okolí, kde je situace možná nejtěžší ze všech úseků frontové linie. Marjinku drží proti obrovské materiální i početní převaze snad jen silou nezlomné vůle.
Kyril is a Belarusian who has lived in the Czech Republic for fifteen years. When the war in Ukraine started, he decided it was time to join the fight for freedom. Not only for freedom in Ukraine, but also in Belarus. He completed a number of specialized trainings. He operates in and around Maryinka, where the situation is currently the most difficult of the front line. Despite he and his unit are outnumbered by their enemy who are fighting with more weaponry, they are defending Maryinka with unbreakable will.
Komu pomůžeme?
Kyril dřív pracoval jako horský průvodce a s válkou a bojem neměl nic společného. Ruská invaze na Ukrajinu však všechno změnila. “Chci ukázat, že většina Bělorusů není na straně Putinova režimu.” říká Kyril. Ale Kyril se umí udělat pro Rusy neviditelným. Aby mohl v noci lépe rozpoznat cíle a sledovat, co se děje v jeho perimetru, potřebuje lépe vidět. S tím mu můžeme pomoci. Zbytek už bude na Kyrilovi a jeho schopnostech. Aby přežil on sám a pomohl co nejdříve vytlačit Rusy z okupovaných území.
Kyril used to work as a mountain guide and had nothing to do with war and fighting. But the Russian invasion of Ukraine changed everything. „I want to show that the majority of Belarusians are not on the side of Putin's regime.,“ says Kyril. But Kyril can make himself invisible to the Russians. He needs to be able to see better at night to spot targets and keep track of what's happening in his perimeter. We can help him do that. The rest will be up to Kyril and his skills to help push the Russians out of the occupied territories as soon as possible.
