Jsem matka dvou dcer 8 a 11 let, se kterými žiji v Ostravě Nové Vsi. Bydlely jsme u mé maminky a babičky mých dětí ve vedlejší ulici, které se povodeň také nevyhnula. 1. 9. 2024 jsme se nastěhovaly do nového domu, ve kterém jsme začaly náš nový život s novou milující rodinou. Dva týdny po nastěhování nás zasáhla ničivá povodeň, která vzala vše bez ohledu na citovou vazbu k věcem i těžce vybudovanému majetku. Děti v jedné chvíli přišly o veškeré své hračky, pohádkové knihy, nový nábytek včetně oblečení a klavírů. Hledáním zpětně v myšlenkách, co vše jsme v domě nechali a co se nám utopilo, již nelze vrátit a vysvětlení dané situace dětem je složitá. 

I am the mother of two daughters aged 8 and 11, with whom I live in Ostrava Nová Ves. We lived with my mother and my children's grandmother in the next street, which was also not spared by the flood. On September 1, 2024, we moved into a new house, in which we started our new life with a new loving family. Two weeks after moving in, we were hit by a devastating flood that took everything, regardless of emotional attachment to things and hard-built possessions. In one moment, the children lost all their toys, story books, new furniture including clothes and pianos. Searching backwards in our thoughts, we can no longer return what we left in the house and what we drowned, and explaining the given situation to the children is difficult.

Jelikož dům byl pojištěný jen jako stavba, bez vnitřního vybavení, Budeme všichni včetně dětí potřebovat zpět svůj nábytek, nádobí, pračku, děti zpět patrovou postel, včetně vybavení, oblečení, obuvi, a další nezbytné rodinné výdaje. 

Je to veliká bezmoc, když nevíme za jak dlouho se budeme moci vrátit a za jakých to bude podmínek, kdy nevíme, zda dům nezačne projevovat plíseň. 

Děkujeme za každou pomoc, abychom si dům mohly jednou zpátky vybavit. 

Since the house was only insured as a building, without interior equipment, We will all need our furniture, dishes, washing machine, children back bunk bed, including equipment, clothes, shoes, and other necessary family expenses, including the children.

It is a great helplessness when we don't know how long we will be able to return and under what conditions it will be, when we don't know if the house will start showing mold.
