Adrian je energický, silně pozitivní, tvrdě pracující a laskavý člověk a je také jedním z mých nejbližších přátel. Adrianovi je 28 let, miluje cestování a svoji práci, která je zaměřena na vývoj výživových doplňků. Ironií je, že přes své úsilí žít zdravým životním stylem byl minulý rok diagnostikován s rakovinou žaludku. Adrian vždy rád pomáhal ostatním a když měl možnost vycestovat do rozvojových zemí, jako je Ghana, kde se aktivně angažoval v pomoci, například darováním jídla v oblastech, kde to bylo nejvíce potřebné. Bohužel kvůli zákeřné chorobě Adrian už nemá sílu pomáhat a sám potřebuje pomoc. Pomozme teď my společně jemu.

Adrian is an energetic, strongly positive, hard working and kind person and is also one of my closest friends. Adrian is 28 years old, loves traveling and his work, which is focused on developing nutritional supplements. Ironically, despite his efforts to live a healthy lifestyle, he was diagnosed with stomach cancer last year. Adrian has always loved helping others and when he had the opportunity to travel to developing countries such as Ghana, he was actively involved in helping, for example by donating food in areas where it was most needed. Unfortunately, due to an insidious illness, Adrian no longer has the strength to help and needs help himself. Let us now help Adrian together.

V březnu minulého roku byla Adrianovi diagnostikována rakovina žaludku a od té doby začal boj. Jeho žaludek byl poškozen během biopsie, což způsobilo vnitřní krvácení, které lékaři nemohli zastavit téměř dva měsíce. Adrianova situace se zhoršila a bylo mu řečeno, že rakovina postoupila do 4. stadia a rozšířila se na játra.

Přes neblahou prognózu a obrovské výzvy se odmítl vzdát. Po dvou měsících neúspěšných pokusů zastavit krvácení, kdy byl hospitalizován, sotva se mohl pohybovat a byl živen pouze intravenózně, což způsobilo, že hodně zhubl. Poté dostal chemoterapii, která naštěstí částečně zabrala a vnitřní krvácení se zastavilo. To mu dalo naději.

Byl převezen do jiné nemocnice, kde mu bylo nabídnuto širší spektrum možností léčby. Rok uplynul a všechno se zdálo být lepší. Začal také s imunoterapií Nivolumab, která bohužel nepřinesla očekávané výsledky a rakovina se začala znovu šířit.

Last year in March, Adrian was diagnosed with stomach cancer, and from that point on the battle has started. His stomach was damaged during a biopsy, causing internal bleeding that doctors couldn't stop for almost two months. Adrian’s situation worsened and he has been told that the cancer has advanced to stage 4 and has spread to his liver. 

Despite the bleak prognosis and enormous challenges, he refused to give up. It has been another two months of unsuccessful attempts to stop the bleeding where he was hospitalised and could barely move whilst he was given nutrition only through an intravenous drip line which has made him lose a lot of weight. Afterwards he was given chemotherapy, which thankfully partially worked and the internal bleeding has stopped. This gave him hope. 

He has transferred to another hospital where he was given access to a wider range of treatment options. One year has passed and everything seemed to be getting better. He has also started Nivolumab immunotherapy, which unfortunately did not have the expected results and the cancer has started to spread again.

Po vyčerpání všech dostupných možností léčby jsme našli naději v Thajsku, kde mají úžasné výsledky s terapií NK buněk. Tato léčba, kombinovaná s konvenční medicínou, dietou a vitamíny, je holistický přístup, který by mohl Adriana zachránit. Bohužel, tato léčba není kryta pojištěním a on již nemá finanční prostředky na její zaplacení.

After exhausting all available treatment options, we have found hope in Thailand where they have amazing results with NK cell therapy.
