Celý život byl Lord jenom skoro o granulích. Majitel se vymlouvá a zastává se svých postarších názorů, že se pes nají, až bude opravdu hladovět, nebo že pes není tolik citlivý, proto se musí používat fyzická síla. Trochu podezření na občasné hrubé zacházení mám, ale majitel mlčí. Lord u nás psychicky ožil. Oblíbil si nás, je nadšený, vrtí ocáskem, válí se po zádech a chce drbat, venku dovádí jako štěně. Aportuje a dokonce i vlezl do vody. Je poslušný a má strašně milou povahu, i naše 2 domácí kočky přijal.
Máme ho nyní 3 měsíce. Už k nám přišel vyhublý, ale hubnul dál, měl a stále má průjmy, skoro nejí (půl kuřete za den), pak zvrací. Má 36,5 kilo a dál hubne. Občas ale chuť k jídlu má, jen má bolesti, nebo to v sobě neudrží. Drobnější věci, jako zánět v uších, srst apod. jsme vyřešili a jinak je zdravý, Paní doktorka na veterině i sama uznala, že depresí to nyní není. V čem ale není zdravý- zjistilo se velmi vážné poškození jater, vyšly mu 5× abnormálně zhoršené jaterní testy a k tomu nedokáže vstřebávat z jídla cukry. Je zesláblý.
Potřebuje brát léky každý den. Hepa-pet+ momentálně. Na jeho váhu jsou to 4 tabletky denně. Po dobu dvou měsíců. Dále veterinář říkal, že pokud se jeho stav zlepší, nadále bude muset tento lék brát, obden. Poté další možné vitamíny a kontrolní testy, jestli se to zlepšuje a jestli se to dá zachránit.

Lord's whole life was pretty much about pellets. The owner makes excuses and defends his elderly views that the dog will eat when he is really hungry, or that the dog is not that sensitive, so physical force must be used.I have a little suspicion of occasional rough treatment, but the owner is silent.Lord has come alive mentally with us.He has taken a liking to us, he is enthusiastic, wags his tail, rolls on his back and wants to scratch, outside he frolics like a puppy.He is fetching and even got into the water. He's obedient and has a very sweet disposition, he even accepted our 2 house cats.
We have him now for 3 months.He came to us already emaciated, but he continued to lose weight, had and still has diarrhea, hardly eats (half a chicken a day), then vomits.He is 36,5 kilos and continues to lose weight.He does have an appetite sometimes though, he's just in pain or can't keep it in. Minor things like ear infections, fur, etc. have been resolved and he is otherwise healthy, The vet even admitted herself that it is not depression now. But in what ways he is not healthy- he was found to have very severe liver damage, his liver tests came out abnormally impaired 5 times, plus he can't absorb sugars from food. He's weak.
He needs to take medication every day. Hepa-pet+ at the moment. For his weight, that's 4 pills a day. For two months. The vet also said that if his condition improves, he will still need to take this medication, daily. After that, other possible vitamins and follow up tests to see if it is improving and if it can be saved.
So the money will be used for his treatment, quality meats and good medication for his pain to go far away as possible.
