rád bych v této sbírce vybral peníze na rekonstrukci a vybavení základní školy a jejich studentů v Indonésii. Škola se nachází na ostrově Sawandarek v oblasti Raja Ampat. Raja Ampat, neboli Čtyři králové, je souostroví ležící v sousedství severozápadního cípu poloostrova Bird's Head v provincii Jihozápadní Papua v Indonésii. Zahrnuje více než 1 500 malých ostrovů a čtyři hlavní ostrovy Misool, Salawati, Batanta a Waigeo a menšího ostrova Kofiau.
Lidé i děti na ostrově Sawandarek jsou velmi přátelští, milí a inteligentní. Děti se ve škole učí číst, psát, počítat a anglickému jazyku. Hodně jim to poté pomáhá uplatnit se v běžném životě. Do této školy se denně sjíždí i děti z okolních ostrovů.
Na ostrově Sawandarek jsem byl osobně v listopadu 2022 a 2023 a musím konstatovat, že je to tam úžasné. Asi poslední nezničený tropický ráj na zemi. Nádherná příroda a neuvěřitelný podmořský život. To, jak tam lidé dokáží skromně žít je velmi obdivuhodné. Z ničeho dokáží vybudovat maximum. Škola je pro ně velmi důležitá, ale vzhledem k nedostatku finančních prostředků je v havarijním stavu a nutně potřebuje rekonstrukci a vybavit kvalitním nábytkem, tabulí a dalšími věcmi, které jsou nutné pro bezproblémový chod školy. Také děti by potřebovaly nakoupit boty, ponožky, oblečení a další školní potřeby. Pokud se na fotky podíváte podrobně, tak si všimnete, že mnoho dětí boty nemá. Chodí bosy. Tohle musíme změnit. Boty a oblečení pro každé dítě. Na ostrově není ani sladká voda a všechna se musí dovážet z pevniny, což je velmi finančně náročné.
Tím, že finančně přispějete na tuto sbírku nebudete jen anonymní dárci, ale podáte těmto úžasným dětem pomocnou ruku a pomůžete jim jít s vámi ruku v ruce za lepší budoucností. Oni si to opravdu zaslouží a hlavně to moc potřebují.

I would like to raise money in this collection for the reconstruction and equipment of a primary school and their students in Indonesia. The school is located on Sawandarek Island in the Raja Ampat area. Raja Ampat, or Four Kings, is an archipelago located adjacent to the northwestern tip of the Bird's Head Peninsula in the province of Southwest Papua, Indonesia. It includes more than 1,500 small islands and the four main islands of Misool, Salawati, Batanta and Waigeo and the smaller island of Kofiau.
The people and children on Sawandarek Island are very friendly, kind and intelligent. Children learn to read, write, count and the English language at school. It helps them a lot to apply themselves in everyday life. Children from the surrounding islands also come to this school every day.
I was personally on Sawandarek Island in November 2023 and I have to say that it is amazing there. Probably the last unspoiled tropical paradise on earth. Beautiful nature and incredible underwater life. How people manage to live modestly there is very admirable. They can build the maximum out of nothing. The school is very important to them, but due to the lack of funds, it is in a state of disrepair and urgently needs to be renovated and equipped with quality furniture, blackboards and other things that are necessary for the smooth running of the school. Children would also need to buy shoes, socks, clothes and other school supplies. If you look closely at the photos, you will notice that many children do not have shoes. They walk barefoot. We have to change this. Shoes and clothes for every child. There is not even fresh water on the island and all of it has to be imported from the mainland, which is very expensive.
By making a financial contribution to this fundraiser, you will not only be an anonymous donor, but you will give these wonderful children a helping hand and help them walk hand in hand with you for a better future. They really deserve it and especially need it a lot.
