Káťa u nás dříve pracovala, Ondra k nám potom šel pracovat na plný úvazek. Teď je u nás na dohodu a chodí vypomáhat, když může. Od nového roku by k nám chtěl jít do tréninku na manažera, pokud mu to situace dovolí.
Celé to začalo na konci října po jejich svatbě, kdy Káťa byla odvezena do nemocnice a zjistili, že jí praskla žíla v hlavě a způsobila jí rozsáhlé krvácení do mozku. Po skoro dvou týdnech vyšetření zjistili, že žíla, která praskla, nemá v daném místě ani být. Jde tedy o neobvyklou anomálii, u které ani nebylo jasné, jakou část mozku žíla zásobuje.
Káťa proto 20. 11. absolvovala riskantní operaci, která ukázala další komplikace. Lékaři odhadují, že má 33% šanci, že bude opět zdravá, 33 % riziko fatálních následků a poslední třetina představuje doživotní postižení.
Káťa se zatím zotavuje po operaci a není jasné, co bude následovat. I v tom nejlepším scénáři ji však bude čekat několik měsíců rehabilitací, než bude moct chodit sama a starat se o sebe a jejich syna.

Káťa used to work with us, and Ondra later joined us on a full-time basis. Currently, he's on a temporary contract, helping out when possible. From the new year, he plans to attend manager training with us, if the situation allows.
It all began at the end of October after their wedding, when Káťa was taken to the hospital. They discovered a burst vein in her head, causing extensive bleeding into the brain. After almost two weeks of examinations, they found that the vein that burst shouldn't even be in that area—an unusual anomaly. It wasn't clear which part of the brain the vein supplied.
On November 20, Káťa underwent a risky operation, revealing further complications. Doctors estimate a 33% chance of her recovering, a 33% risk of fatal consequences, and the remaining third represents a lifelong disability.
Káťa is currently recovering from the surgery, and the future is uncertain. Even in the best-case scenario, several months of rehabilitation lie ahead before she can walk independently and care for herself and their son.
Ondra, Káťa’s husband, is currently primarily self-employed and unable to earn a living as he stays at home with their son. Grandmothers assist with childcare, allowing him to work a few hours a week, but he can no longer manage his previous 8-hour shifts as a taxi driver.
Monthly expenses for housing, food, and their son's needs amount to around 40,000 CZK, which unfortunately isn't covered by parental benefits. Ondra is struggling to meet his commitments, and any financial assistance would be greatly appreciated to alleviate some of the burdens during this difficult time.
