Představení sbírky
Jsme rodina se čtyřmi dětmi. Dva naši synové mají těžkou mentální retardaci spojenou s poruchou autistického spektra, naše dcera má středně těžkou mentální retardaci. Péče o děti je náročná a život s nimi přináší mnoho výzev, ale také radosti.
Náš syn Romča miluje práci na počítači – je to pro něj nejen zábava, ale i způsob, jak se učit, rozvíjet své schopnosti a zklidnit se. Starý počítač už ale dosluhuje, a proto bychom mu rádi pořídili nový.
Bohužel, z našich finančních možností si to v tuto chvíli nemůžeme dovolit.
Budeme moc vděční za jakýkoliv příspěvek, který nám pomůže splnit tento důležitý krok pro Romčův rozvoj a jeho každodenní radost.

We are a family with four children. Two of our sons have severe intellectual disabilities combined with autism spectrum disorder, and our daughter has a moderate intellectual disability. Caring for our children is challenging, and life with them brings many difficulties—but also many joys.
Our son Romča loves working on the computer. For him, it's not just fun; it's also a way to learn, develop his skills, and calm himself. Unfortunately, his old computer is no longer functioning well, and we would like to get him a new one.
Sadly, we are currently not in a financial position to afford it.
We would be deeply grateful for any contribution that could help us take this important step for Romča’s development and his everyday happiness.

Komu pomůžeme?
Romča je náš čtrnáctiletý syn. Od narození žije s genetickým onemocněním – syndromem fragilního X, které u něj způsobuje těžkou mentální retardaci, autismus a epilepsii.
Navzdory svému postižení je Romča usměvavý, zvídavý kluk, který má jednu velkou vášeň – počítačové hry. Miluje svět World of Warcraft, Forzy a dalších her, kde může na chvíli utéct do světa fantazie, který mu dává smysl a radost. Hraní her mu pomáhá nejen se zklidnit, ale i trénovat soustředění, trpělivost a jemnou motoriku.
Počítač je pro něj nejen zábava, ale i terapeutický nástroj. Bohužel ten, který teď používá, už nezvládá nové hry, často se zasekává a Romču to frustruje.

Romča is our fourteen-year-old son. Since birth, he has been living with a genetic condition—Fragile X syndrome—which causes him severe intellectual disability, autism, and epilepsy.
Despite his challenges, Romča is a cheerful and curious boy with one big passion: computer games. He loves the worlds of World of Warcraft, Forza, and other games that allow him to escape into a fantasy world that brings him joy and makes sense to him. Gaming helps him not only to calm down, but also to train his focus, patience, and fine motor skills.
For Romča, the computer is not just a source of entertainment—it’s also a therapeutic tool. Unfortunately, the one he currently uses can no longer handle modern games. It often freezes, which leaves Romča feeling frustrated.
