Ve čtvrtek 24. 5. 2021 přišli moji rodiče o sen a jejich největší vášeň. Maminka roky snila o tom, že nad našim sklípkem udělá ubytování. Loni se jí konečně sen splnil a naše rodina otevřela ubytování, které někteří z vás znáte jako “Víno U Matůšků”. Během pár minut, pod vlivem ničivého tornáda, přišli o střechu přímo nad pokoji, pergolu, kde jsme/jste tak rádi sedávali, šopku do které jste si schovávali kola a malou boudičku. Celý vinohrad je zničen.

After a terrible tornado swept through the southern Czech Republic on Thursday, June 24th 2021, my parents lost everything they haveworked for. For my mom, owning the vineyard was not just a result of years of hard work but her life-long dream. Finally, my parents were lucky to open a small hotel and a winery last year, that you came to know as “Víno U Matůšků” (Wine at the Matůšeks)
Unfortunately, just a few minutes of this devastating tornado and all of it disappeared – the roof, pergola, where we used love to sit at, the store and a small storage building. Everything they worked so hard for was destroyed. The whole vineyard has been destroyed.
