Během ničivého tornáda ve čtvrtek 24.června 2021 v obci Hrušky přišla rodina Lazurových o střechu nad hlavou. Domek si rodina v Hruškách pořídila před dvěma lety a rekonstruovala jej. Nyní zde během pár minut přišli Lazurovi o všechno, co měli. Z domu zůstalo jenom obvodové zdivo, horní patro se celé zřítilo. Jsou šťastní, že se nestalo nic dceři, která stačila vyběhnout z domu těsně, než jej zasáhlo tornádo. Vichřice jim zničila i auto, které hledali a nalezli na stromě o několik domů dál. Nyní budou odklízet suť, trosky a zničené vybavení a zařízení domu. Podle vyjádření statika musí být zbylá část horního patra stržena, pak se uvidí, co dál.

Who can you help?
During the devastating tornado in the village of Hrusky on Thursday, June 24, 2021, the Lazur family lost the roof over their heads. The family bought the house two years ago and then reconstructed it. It took only a few minutes for the tornado to take everything they had. The upper floor collapsed and all that is left is only the perimeter masonry. Despite the devastation, they are still grateful because nothing happened to their daughter, who managed to flee the house just before the tornado hit. When they were searching for their car, which was also blown away, they found it destroyed on a tree a few houses away. Their new mission is to remove the rubble, debris and ruined equipment of the house. According to structural engineers, the rest of the upper floor must be torn down and then they must anxiously wait for what will happen next.
