Pomohli jste rodině Jana Helešice, které zasáhlo tornádo

I mým prarodičům dne 24. 6. 2021 vzalo tornádo střechu nad hlavou. Jsou manželé již přes padesát let, zažili mnohé, ale tato zkušenost patří mezi ty nejhorší. Naštěstí vyvázli bez zranění a podařilo se jím utéct do sklepa.

Tornádo jim odneslo střechu, zničilo okna a „porylo“ milovanou zahrádku. Kromě domu je také čeká oprava vinného sklepa, který tornádu taky „stál“ v cestě.

My grandparents were also one of the unfortunate ones. To lose a roof over their heads to a tornado that struck on 24. 6. 2021. They have been married for over fifty years and have been through a lot together, this experience however was amongst their worst. Luckily, they have not suffered any injuries, as they have managed to hide from the tornado in their basement.

The tornado took the roof off their house, destroyed the windows as well as their beloved garden. 

Kromě toho, že jsou milující rodiče, prarodiče a praprarodiče, jsou to i ti lidé co se nebojí podat pomocnou ruku. Jak při budování domů svých dětí a vnoučat tak i širší veřejnosti. Folklorní svět zná dědu jako " toho pana ševce z Mikulčic co opravuje krojové boty" a nejednou je opravoval „za pět minut dvanáct“.

Myslím, že je čas jim jejich velkorysost oplatit.

Apart from being loving parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents, they are the kind of people who do not hesitate to offer a helping hand. Whether it is by providing help to their children and grandchildren in building their houses, or to the public. The world of folklore knows my grandpa as “that shoemaker from Mikulčice, who mends folk costume boots”.

Please can you help to pay them back for the kindness and generosity shown to all of those fortunate enough to have met them. 

They have found temporary shelter with their daughter, away from the affected area, but they would love to return to their own home as soon as possible.

Peníze budou na střechu, nová okna, nové zdi, které si vítr taky vzal.

The money collected will be used for a new roof, windows, new walls. All taken by the tornado.
